Purchasing of Local Organic Fertilizer - Maha Season 2021/2022

- In terms of the approval granted at the Cabinet meeting held on 2021 07 08, prices have been called from the Licensed Local Fertilizer Producers of the National Fertilizer Secretariat to purchase organic fertilizer required for the Maha Season 2021/2022. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture, to award the procurement for securing the stocks of fertilizer required for Ceylon Fertilizer Company Ltd. and Colombo Commercial Fertilizers Ltd., to the selected local organic fertilizer producers, as recommended by the Cabinet Appointed Negotiation Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
