Issuance of one-time tourist visa up to 180 days for travelers arriving via Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)

- The Cabinet, at its meeting held on 2021 01 04, decided to issue a one-time tourist visa up to 180 days for travellers arriving in Sri Lanka, connecting the ''Sri Lanka Tourism Mobile App'' of the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) to the tourist visa applying process via ''Online Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)'' which is operated under the Department of Immigration and Emigration. As such, it was decided to grant concurrence to the proposal made by H. E. the President in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to issue the said tourist visa charging the following levies:

* travellers from SAARC countries - US$ 70
* travellers from Non SAARC countries - US$ 85
* travellers from Singapore, Maldives, Seychelles - US$ 50 (according to the bilateral agreements with those countries)
