Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Open University of Sri Lanka and the University of Essex, the United Kingdom

- It has been proposed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the Open University of Sri Lanka and the University of Essex, the United Kingdom for the objectives of obtaining opportunities to enter into the University of Essex for students who have qualified after completing the relevant courses at the Open University of Sri Lanka, implementing collaborative research projects on mutual consent and organizing student, faculty and staff exchange programmes. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to sign the said MoU between two parties, was approved by the Cabinet.
