Organisational Membership Engagement Agreement between BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT and the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU)

- It has been proposed to sign an Organisational Membership Engagement Agreement between the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) and BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT. BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, formerly known as the British Computer Society, registers persons qualified and experienced in Computing as its Professional Members. BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT has expressed its willingness to grant a non‑exclusive license to the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) to engage in the activities of assessing the persons who apply for the membership of the said Institute. As such, the proposal made by H. E. the President in his capacity as the Minister of Defence, to sign an Organisational Membership Engagement Agreement to pursue action accordingly, was approved by the Cabinet.
