Mid - Year Fiscal Position Report

- The Minister of Finance is required to present the report on the Mid – Year Fiscal Position to the public by the last date of the month of June in every fiscal year as per the provisions of section 10 of the Fiscal Management (Responsibility) Act, No.3 of 2003 and subsequently the said report is required to be submitted in Parliament. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance to submit the Report on the Mid – Year Financial Position of 2021 which was issued on the 2021‑06‑30 in parliament, was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
