Submission of the Gazette Notification published under the Value Added Tax Act, No14 of 2002 for approval in Parliament

- The Gazette Notification No.2228/33 dated 2021‑05‑20 has been issued under the Value Added Tax Act, No. 14 of 2002 enacting a regulation by the Minister of Finance making it compulsory the completion of schedules 6 and 7 that can be obtained from the web portal of the Department of Inland Revenue, enabling to streamline the values of exports declared by exporters with export data submitted to the Sri Lanka Customs. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance to submit the said regulation in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
