Awarding the contract for the import of Gas Oil for a period of 08 months from 2021-06-01 to 2021-01-31

- Bids have been invited from the registered suppliers of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation for the term contract for importing 1,137,500 Bbls of Gas Oil (0.05% maximum sulfur ) and 262,500 Bbls of Gas Oil (0.001% maximum sulfur) for a period of 08 months from 2021‑06‑01 to 2022‑01‑31. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Energy to award the relevant contract to M/s Petrochina International (Singapore) Pte. Ltd as recommended by the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
