Amendment to the Civil Procedure Code

- It has been identified the necessity of amending the provisions in Chapter XVI of the Civil Procedure Code for formalizing the appointment and monitoring of sworn translators and also to clear the ambiguity in the existing provisions. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Justice to amend the sections 118, 119 and 120 of Chapter XVI of the Civil Procedure Code and to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft legislation for the purpose, was approved by the Cabinet.
