Selection of Ground Handling Agents for SriLankan Airlines Limited

- Limited international bids have been called for the selection of ground handling service providers for the SriLankan Airlines Ltd. (SLA) at the Bangkok International Airport and at the London Heathrow International Airport. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism to award the following contracts for a period of 03 years as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.

* Awarding the contract for the ground handling services supply of the Bangkok International Airport to Bangkok Flight Services.

* Awarding the contract for the passenger and ramp handling services of the London Heathrow International Airport to Dnata Limited.

* Awarding the contract for the cargo handling services of the London Heathrow International Airport to Worldwide Flight Services (WFS)Ltd.
