Purchasing of School uniform materials - 2022

- It has been planned to provide school uniform materials to school children for the year 2022, before the end of final school term in year 2021. Approval of the Cabinet has previously been granted to the effect that school uniform materials be procured from local textile manufacturers so as to encourage them and as such, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to take action accordingly to call for bids from the local textile manufacturers who have registered under the Ministry of Industries and select appropriate suppliers, was approved by the Cabinet.
