Awarding four civil works contract packages on rehabilitation, improvement and maintenance of the Colombo - Kandy Road (A001) (44+300 km to 100+000km)

National Competitive Bids have been called for 04 civil works contract packages for rehabilitation, improvement and maintenance of the Colombo - Kandy Road (from 44km to 100 km) under the Asian Development Bank funded Integrated Road Investment Programme. Accordingly, 15 bidders have submitted 47 bids. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Highways to award the said relevant contract packages to the substantially responsive bidders selected as per the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCAPC), was approved by the Cabinet.
