Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna and the Graduate School of Environmental and life Sciences, Okayama University, Japan

It has been proposed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding between the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna and the Graduate School of Environmental and Life Science, Okayama University, Japan with a view to enhancing higher education cooperation and international relations. It has been planned to launch programmes for exchange of students, exchange of faculty and staff and to conduct collaborative research and to exchange research information. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to enter into the said MoU for a period of five years initially, was approved by the Cabinet.
