Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2021‑01‑04 to establish a special economic zone called Colombo Port City. Accordingly, in order to make legal provisions for the purpose, the Legal Draftsman has prepared the Colombo Port City Economic Commission Bill. Therefore, the proposal made by H.E the President to publish the said Bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter present the same in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
