Amendment to the authority limits of the Procurement Committees

- Approval has been granted to provide provisions for the implementation of a large number of projects which provide immediate benefits to the public, within the 2021-2023 Medium Term Budgetary Framework. As such, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance to increase the authority limits of the existing contract awarding in respect of the subject matters pertaining to the Ministry of Highways, Ministry of Water Supply, Ministry of Irrigation, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Ports & Shipping and the Ministry of Urban Development & Housing, to enable the implementation of the said projects expeditiously, was approved by the Cabinet.
