Rename the 'Certification Body for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel' as 'National Certification Body for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel'

- The Certification Body for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel functions as an independent entity under Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board for the certification of non – destructive testing certification and personnel while promoting non – destructive testing training and testing services. Each country should establish a National Certification Body for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel' to achieve international recognition for NDT training and certification. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Power to rename the already established 'Certification Body for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel' as 'National Certification Body for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) personnel', was approved by the Cabinet.
