Purchase of 2000 Three Wheelers for Sri Lanka Police

- Due to the absence of adequate number of vehicles for the Sri Lanka Police to perform their duties properly as the leading institution assigned the functions of enforcing law and safeguarding law and order in the country, the proposal made by the Minister of Public Security to purchase 2000 Three Wheelers as an immediate solution for the same, was approved by the Cabinet.
