Handing over the office premises of the Ministry of Industries to the Urban Development Authority and shifting the Ministry to a new office premises

- The premises in which the Ministry of Industries is presently being established is in extent of 01 Acre and 7 perches and it is located in a place with high economic and commercial value. According to the estimate of the Government Valuer its current value amounts to Rs. 2.32 billion. Therefore, the Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Minister of Industries to hand over the said office premises with the Urban Development Authority, enabling to utilize the land for a more productive task with an economic value and in return, to obtain a furnished building of 50,000 square feet with parking facilities for 75 vehicles to the Ministry of Industries from the said Authority.
