Recommendation of the Finance Commission for the Financial Year 2021

- The Finance Commission established in accordance with Article 154 R of the Constitution of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka shall make recommendations to H.E the President on the policies to be followed in the disbursement of funds granted by the annual budget for the Provincial Councils. Accordingly, the Finance Commission has submitted those recommendations to H.E the President for the year 2021. As such, the proposal submitted by H.E the President to implement such recommendations made by the said Commission and to present the same in Parliament in terms of Article 154 R (7) of the Constitution, was approved by the Cabinet.
