Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2021-02-15

Providing special concessions to Mattala Rajapaksha International Airport and Colombo, Rathmalana International Airport to attract airlines

- The Cabinet, at its meeting held on 2020‑12‑21 granted approval to release the landing and parking charges of the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport and the Colombo International Airport as an encouragement for the international charter flight operations implemented according to specific schedules prepared by the Ministry of Tourism and the Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka. Accordingly, the proposal made by the  Minister of Tourism to extend the said concession up to 2021‑07‑19, was approved by the Cabinet.
