Entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Colombo and the Lahore School of Economics in Pakistan

- With a view to exchanging research materials, publications and information mutually benefiting each party, encouraging the joint and individual research projects of the two institutions and providing opportunities to have experiences through the Programme of exchanging students with skills and abilities, it has been proposed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Colombo and the Lahore School of Economics in Pakistan. An Expert Committee has studied the proposed MoU and submitted its recommendations and, concurrence of the Foreign Ministry and the Attorney General's Department has been granted for the same. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to sign the said MoU, was approved by the Cabinet.
