Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2021-02-08

Projects proposed to be implemented by the State Ministry of Livestock, Farm Promotion and Dairy & Egg related Industries for the upcoming 5 years from the year 2021

- The Cabinet approved the proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture to update the activities of the following projects presently being implemented for the increase of production capacity of the other industries related to local dairy production and livestock development and implement the same during the next 05 years.

* Project for the popularization of liquid milk consumption.

* Project for the establishment of breeder farms.

* Swine industry development project.

* Small and medium scale poultry farms development project.

* Enhancement of productivity through promotion of small and medium scale diary farms.

* Medium term livestock development project.
