Submission of the Regulations issued under the Import and Export (Control) Act No.1 of 1969 in Parliament for approval

- Necessary measures have been taken to restrict and regulate certain imported goods which may cause pressure on the foreign exchange rate. Accordingly, the proposal made by Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance to submit the Gazette Extraordinary Notification dated 2021‑01‑05 issued imposing regulations under the Import and Export (Control) Act No.1 of 1969, in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
