The Detailed Report of the Five Member Committee appointed to probe the tense situation erupted at the Mahara Prison on 2020-11-29

- The Minister of Justice appointed a Five Member Committee to conduct a formal investigation on the tense situation erupted at the Mahara Prision on 2020‑11‑29. The said committee has submitted its report under three main facts, i.e. the prevention of the prison congestion, welfare of the prison inmates and the prison administration. Accordingly, the Cabinet considered the information of the aforesaid report submitted by the Minister of Justice.
