Submission of Regulations issued under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, No.1 of 1969 for approval in Parliament

- Considering the recommendations made by the Tariff Determination Committee appointed for the purpose of rationlaizing the importation of goods in response to the pressure on foreign exchange due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, to present two Gazette notifications published for the enactment of relevant regulations under the Import and Export (Control) Act, No.1 of 1969, in Parliament for approval, was approved by the Cabinet.
