Establishment of an Inter-Ministerial Committee for Sustainable Environment Management

- Implementation of a Sustainable Environment Policy in line with the Government Manifesto, “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendor” is the leading responsibility of the Ministries and Institutions related to the subject of Environment including the Ministry of Environment. It has been found the necessity to act collaboratively by all the institutions related to the subject of environment to make aware the public as well as to provide accurate information on facts presented in print, electronic and social media when performing the said task. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Environment to establish an Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee under the coordination of the of the Ministry of Environment together with the participation of the relevant Ministries and Institutes, was approved by the Cabinet.
