Amending the National Transport Commission Act, No. 37 of 1991

- It has been identified that certain provisions in the National Transport Commission Act No 37 of 1991 are not applicable to meet the complexity in present transport system. Therefore, it has been identified that it is appropriate to amend the said Act and accordingly the proposal made by the Minister of Justice to instruct the Legal Draftsman to draft a bill to amend the said Act, was approved by the Cabinet.
