Awarding the Contract for the construction of the Engineering Faculty Building of the University of Sri Jayawardenepura

- International Competitive Bids have been called for construction of the Engineering Faculty Building of the University of Sri Jayawardhanapura under the Science and Technology Human Resources Development Project on design and build basis. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to award the said contract to M/s Sanken Constructions (Pvt) Ltd., to a sum of Rs.3,624.96 million (Excluding VAT), as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee , was approved by the Cabinet.
