Amendment to the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation Act, No.15 of 1968

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2015‑12‑02 for further amendment of the Sri Lanka Land Development Corporation Act, No. 15 of 1968 (Amended) as amended by the Acts, No. 27 of 1976, No. 52 of 1982, No. 35 of 2006 and No. 11 of 2019. Accordingly, clearance from the Attorney General has been received for the draft bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman. As such, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development & Housing to publish the said draft bill in the Government Gazette and thereafter present the same in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
