Suraksha Student Insurance Coverage 2020/2021

- Proposals have been invited from Government-owned insurance companies for “Suraksha” student insurance. In response to the invitation, only the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation has submitted a proposal. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to award the Procurement for the securing of Suraksha Student Insurance Scheme to the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, following the negotiations conducted with the said Corporation, was approved by the Cabinet.
