Extending the term of the Committee established to make recommendations to regularize and make efficient the State Banking System to strengthen the National Economy

- The Cabinet, at its meeting held on 2020‑07‑22 granted approval to establish a Committee to submit appropriate recommendations within 03 months to regularize and make efficient the state banking system to strengthen the National economy. However, due to the prevailing situation in the country, the work of the committee could not be completed as expected. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance to extend the term of the Committee for a period of three months with effect from 2020‑11‑18, was approved by the Cabinet.
