Acquiring a block of land for the Divisional Secretariat, Ratmalana

- It has been planned to construct a new building complex for the Divisional Secretariat, Ratmalana enabling to render an optimum public service to the general public in the area, since space of the current building which is situated in a block of land of 26 perches is inadequate. Accordingly, the joint proposal made by the Minister of Irrigation and State Minister of Internal Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management and the Minister of Transport to allocate a block of land in extent of 100 perches belonging to the Department of Sri Lanka Railways identified for the construction of the Divisional Secretariat, Ratmalana, was approved by the Cabinet.
