Amendment of the Regulations related to the process of charging visa fees of the Department of Immigration and Emigration

- The Cabinet, at its meeting held on 2018‑01‑09 has granted approval to amend the regulations issued in 1956 pertaining to the Immigration and Emigration Act No. 20 of 1948 so as to suit with present. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Irrigation and State Minister of Internal Security, Home Affairs and Disaster Management to present the amended Bill prepared by the Legal Draftsman for the purpose in Parliament, was approved by the Cabinet.
