Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2020-11-09

Awarding of Contract for the Construction of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences Building - Phase 1 of the University of Ruhuna

- Approval of the Cabinet has been granted at its meeting held on 2018‑09‑11 to implement the Phase I of the project for the Construction of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences Building of the University of Ruhuna. Accordingly, National Competitive Biding Procedure has been followed to select a suitable contractor for the purpose. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Education to award the said contract to M/s Sathuta Builders (Pvt.) Ltd., to a sum of Rs. 1,501.73 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
