Granting State Lands to Landless War Heroes for Residential Purposes

- With the introduction of a new methodology for disposition of state lands to war heroes, having revised the previous policy existed, at the Cabinet meeting held on 2016‑07‑18, the some war heroes who have been granted lands under the previous policy are reported to have faced numerous hardships. Therefore, the proposal made by the Minister of Lands to introduce a new methodology to eliminate these inequalities that have occurred in providing relief to the war heroes belonging to the same category, was approved by the Cabinet.
