Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2020-11-09

Providing opportunity for sale of products of the Government Institutions in the showroom of the Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation

- It is been planned to expand the showroom of the Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation which is currently operating at the Narahenpita Dedicated Economic Center and establish a sales center called “Rajawasa” in order to facilitate the customers to obtain the products manufactured and sold in the following Government Institutions under one roof at a reasonable price.

Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Trade to modernize the premises where the showroom of the Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Corporation presently located and to establish the proposed “Rajawasa” Sales Center, was approved by the Cabinet.
