-Limited international bidding procedure has been followed in purchasing aviation fuel for SriLankan Airlines Ltd, at the Melbourne Airport, Australia. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism, to award the contract for the supply of fuel for the Aeroplanes of the SriLankan Airlines Ltd at Melbourne Airport, Australia, to Vitol Aviation BV, to a total estimated cost of US$ 18.47 million, as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
