-Lanka Salusala Limited has formulated a strategic “Five Year Project Plan” in line with the Industry and the Trade Policy of the Government and further, a new business approach is planned while networking with the local textile manufacturers by carrying out a study on the demand for textiles in public sector institutions and to for adopting such. Accordingly, the Cabinet having taken into consideration the proposal made by the Minister of Industries, relating to the sales promotion activities of Lanka Salusala Limited, granted approval to provide a 15% preference when the Public Institutions or Government Owned Institutions purchase textiles from Lanka Salusala Limited, under the Competitive Procurement Procedure.
