-The Cabinet, at its meeting held on 2020‑01‑08 granted approval to award the contract for the procurement of Pre-filled Syringes of Enoxaparin Sodium Injection used for the treatment of patients with heart diseases to M/s ABC Pharma Services (Pvt) Ltd. Accordingly, the relevant order has been issued to the supplier on 2020‑02‑24.

However, it was later confirmed that there is a need for another 160,000 syringes of the same drug. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Health to award the procurement for the supply of 160,000 Pre-filled Syringes of Enoxaparin Sodium Injection 4,000 IU in 0.4ml to the same supplier, M/s ABC Pharna Services (Pvt) Ltd. as a repeat order at a sum of Rs. 126.96 million as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
