Procurement of Chemical Fertilizer - 2020 Maha Season - Month of October

- International open competitive bids have been invited for the procurement of chemical fertilizer required at the end of the month of October during the Maha season 2020. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Agriculture to purchase 60,000 metric tons of Urea (Granular) from the Agrifert Liven International Ltd, at a sum of US$ 298.34 per metric ton, under a loan period of 180 days, as recommended by the Special Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, was approved by the Cabinet.
