Press briefing of Cabinet Decision taken on 2020-09-09

Declaring Monday as the ‘Public Day’ of the State Institutions.

- Even though Wednesday has already been declared as the ‘Public Day’ for the public to have their needs attended to through the State institutions, representations have been made that, it would be more convenient to the Public, if Monday is nominated as the ‘Public Day’. Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to declare Monday as the ‘Public Day’ hereafter and that officials of all the State institutions to compulsorily remain in their offices to fulfil the requirements of the Public during that day.
