The National Policy on Natural Gas in Sri Lanka

- A decision was taken at the Cabinet Meeting held on the 12th of February 2020 to appoint a committee of Experts to examine the draft National Policy on Natural Gas in Sri Lanka and submit necessary amendments. Accordingly, the amended ‘National Policy on Natural Gas in Sri Lanka' prepared by the committee comprised of 17 experts appointed for the purpose was submitted to the Cabinet by the Minister of Energy and the Cabinet decided to grant approval in principle for the same.
