Procurement of a Data Management System for Reserve Management of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka

- The Cabinet granted its approval on 2019‑06‑07 to procure a new data management system to meet the existing requirements in the management of the foreign reserves of the country and productively facilitate to the future developments as well. Accordingly, bids have been invited through the International Competitive Bidding process to supply, install, commission and maintain the said data management system. As such, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance to award the above procurement to SimCorp Pte. Limited of Singapore as per the recommendation of the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee on the said bid, and the views and the recommendations of the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) pertaining to the proposed procurement, was approved by the Cabinet.
