Procurement of Chemical Fertilizer - Maha season 2020 - (September Supply)

- International open competitive bids have been invited for the procurement of fertilizer for the Lanka Fertilizer Limited (Lak Pohora) and Colombo Commercial Company Limited (Commercial Fertilizer), for the requirement of the month of September 2020. The Cabinet having considered the recommendation made by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee on those prices, granted covering approval for the proposal submitted by the Minister of Mahaveli, Agriculture, Irrigation and Rural Development for awarding of the procurement for the supply of fertilizer as follows;

* 60,000 + 5% metric tons of Urea (Granular) to M/s Valency International Pte Limited for an amount of US$ 259.99 per metric ton.

* 7,318 + 5% metric tons of Urea (Frilled) to Agri Fert Liven International Pvt Limited for an amount of US$ 266.48 per metric ton.

* 20,000 + 5% metric tons of Murate of Potash (Red / Pinkish / White) to Agricultural Resources and Investments Pte Limited for an amount of US$ 248 per metric ton.

* 4,700 + 5% metric tons of Murate of Potash (Red / Pinkish) to Agricultural Resources and Investments Pte Limited for an amount of US$ 249 per metric ton.
