Implementation of City Beautification and Landscape Development Projects in Colombo and Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte

- The Urban Development Authority (UDA) has planed to implement the following City Beautification and Landscape Development Projects in Colombo and Sri Jayawardenapura Kotte with a view to improving the green environment of the area and providing environmentally and socially pleasing infrastructure facilities for tourists and general public.

i. Galle Face surrounding Green Infrastructure Network Plan.

ii. Pedestrian Facility Center at Baladaksha Mawatha, Colombo 01.

iii. Urban Agricultural park at Kimbulawala, Talapathpitiya.

The proposal made by the Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Urban Development, Water Supply and Housing Facilities regarding the implementation of the said projects through the Urban Development Authority, was approved by the Cabinet.
