Procurement for the supply of Full Cream Milk Powder to the Sri Lanka Thriposha Limited for the Production of Thriposha for the year 2020/2021

- With the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers, Milco (Pvt.) Ltd. has been awarded the contract for supplying milk powder required for the manufacturing of Thriposha from the year 2014 to 2019 with the objective of strengthening the economy of the local dairy farmers. Accordingly, taking into consideration the proposal submitted by the Minister of Health and Indigenous Medical Services for the procurement of 720 metric tons of full cream milk powder required for the production of Thriposha for the year 2020 / 2021 for Sri Lanka Thriposha Ltd., the Cabinet granted approval to procure the said quantity of milk powder from Milco (Pvt.) Ltd. itself.
