Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resources Development Scholarship Programme - 2020

- The Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resources Development Scholarship Programme is being implemented since the year of 2010 for providing opportunities for the executive level public sector officers to undergo postgraduate courses in the recognized Universities in Japan and under the grant the Government of Japan has given their consent to grant an amount of Japanese Yen 269 million (approximately Rs. 457 million) to facilitate the government officials who are to commence their studies from September 2020. Accordingly, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the proposal submitted by the Hon. Prime Minister in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic and Policy Development for accepting the aforementioned grant and signing the agreements relating to the same.
