Purchasing three (03) official houses for the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka

- The Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka annually conducts more than 350 examinations for Government, Semi-Government, Corporations and Boards. The officers serving in the said department have to work until mid night resulting in officers who come from distant places encountering difficulties. Therefore, as a solution to this problem, approval of the Cabinet was granted to purchase three adjoining housing units form the Viyathpura Apartment Complex at Weera Mawatha, Pannipitiya which is being constructed by the Urban Development Authority, to the Department of Examinations and provide accommodation facilities for the said officers.
