'Suraksha' Students Insurance Scheme

- The agreement with Allianz Insurance Company under the Suraksha Insurance Policy was expired on May 31, 2020. Taking into consideration the recommendations of the Committee appointed to submit recommendations to further strengthen the said insurance scheme, the Cabinet approval was granted to seek the services from a Government owned insurance company when selecting an insurance institute for student insurance coverage and to obtain relevant insurance services from the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation from 2020 06 01 to 2020 09 30, until a suitable insurance institute is selected.
