Dedicated Access Road to the Passenger Terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport
- It has been observed that airport access is highly congested at the peak time due to a large number of passengers entering to and exiting from the Bandaranaike International Airport. Therefore, it has been planned to construct a separate Segregate Airport Access Road which contains two lane, dual roads from the Board of Investment and Minuwangoda road to provide with easy access to the airport. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Tourism and Aviation, to construct the relevant road subject to an estimate of Rs. 600 million and to make provisions for same from the Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Ltd, was approved by the Cabinet.
