Awarding the Contract regarding the Supply of Liquefied Petroleum Gas for the year 2020/2022 - Litro Gas Lanka Ltd.

- The Litro Gas Lanka Ltd., formed as a Government owned company, is the Liquefied Petroleum Gas supplier with 75% of the market share of Liquefied Petroleum Gas users. Accordingly, the proposal made by the Minister of Finance, Economy and Policy Development, to award the contract for the purchase of 740,000 Metric Tons of Liquefied Petroleum Gas to M/s Litro Gas Lanka Ltd., for a period of 02 years from 1st March 2020 to M/s Oman Trading international Ltd., as recommended by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee, assuring continuous supply to the market, was approved by the Cabinet.
